Duration: 06-12 MonthsPay: $35-45/-HourJob Duties and Responsibilities:Work with the Delaware Heritage Commission to devise strategic planning.Monitor budget and make recommendations for expenditures.Interact with state-wide entities regarding commemorative activities.Develop, promote, and market strategies to ensure awareness ofcommemorative activities.Build consensus with community leaders, historical organizations, educationalvenues, and tourism to promote and conduct commemorative activities.Provide support on program, event, and campaign planning for state-wideinitiatives.Maintain 250 th Anniversary state website.Serve as Chair of State of Delaware 250 th Anniversary Committee.Serve as State of Delaware liaison to The American 250 Foundation.Supervise Marketing Specialist professional level staff.Continue projects in place for the marketing, grant programs, projects that havebeen instituted under the oversight of the previous Coordinator.Qualifications:Graduate or bachelor s degree in History, Education, Political Science, orrelated field.Minimum of three years of experience in outreach, public programming,partnership building, government relations, communications, oradministration.Excellent research, writing, copy editing, and communication skills.Commitment to diversity and inclusiveness across all areas of the 250 thAnniversary planning and activity.Exceptional management skills: the ability to influence key audiences andindividuals.
