- Writes tickets and processes cash winning tickets.
- Aware of popular lines and odds in the Sportsbook.
- Effectively and consistently communicates sports betting rules.
- Ensues all information is accurately entered into the till and process any voided wagers.
- Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Committed to always working in a compliant environment in the Sportsbook and adhere to Tribal Gaming Commission reporting requirements.
- Calls for MTL support when writing bets requiring MTL paperwork.
- Loading paper in Sports Betting Kiosks when needed.
- Ensure Sports Book area is clean, and that the equipment is in proper working condition daily.
- reates, maintains, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- One (1) year of experience as a Sportsbook Writer preferred.
- Tribal gaming experience a plus.
- Ability to promote products and services confidently and maintain high standards of professionalism.
- Ability to perform different tasks and follow procedures correctly, independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Read, write and speak English fluently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high volume and stressful environment.
