- Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and offer letters.
- Manage on-campus interview process. Works with hiring chair and others in the national legal recruiting team to ensure a successful OCI and summer associate program for the DC office.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Support the summer associate program, including event planning, work allocation tracking, and evaluations.
- Oversight for the secretarial support services staff. Closely monitor secretarial assignments to ensure equitable distribution of workloads with minimal overtime. Effectively manage secretary to attorney ratios.
- Provide general HR support including benefits assistance, administering leaves of absence and intern program management.
- Bachelor's degree required; minimum three years of HR experience required.
- Prior HR experience in a law firm or professional services environment required.
- Prior recruiting experience with proficiency at conducting interviews and verifying employment references.
- Prior experience coordinating on-campus interviews and summer associate programs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
