
Business Development Representative, Inside Sales

- Inside Sales Program: Supports regional business development efforts through account planning, research, and lead generation to grow sales in key channels and verticals.
- Account Planning: Conducts account research by leveraging internal tools to identify potential business development opportunities for target accounts.
- Prospecting: Proactively engages with customers using email marketing automation tools and other outbound prospecting methods such as cold calls, emails, mailers, and social media.
- Lead Generation: Generate and qualify new leads for our field sales organization by effectively building relationships with multiple customer persona types.
- CRM Management: Contribute to maintaining our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system by updating customer records, tracking interactions, and ensuring the accuracy of data.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and track the performance of your business development efforts and effectively follow up with your field sales partners to ensure leads are converted in a timely manner.
- Multi-tasking: Excel in a fast-paced environment by effectively juggling multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Interpersonal Skills: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, establishing yourself as a trusted industry resource and partner.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience and/or internships in sales, business development, marketing, and/or similar roles.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to navigate adversity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills via phone and email.
- Experience as a sales/business development representative, with a track record of achieving lead quotas.
- Proficient in using CRMs to manage activity, customer follow-up actions, etc.
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and apply problem-solving techniques in virtual conversations.
