In this role, you'll provide therapy services and support to students with a variety of communication challenges, contributing to their academic and social success.You’ll work as part of a collaborative special education team, with access to resources, mentorship (for CFs), and manageable caseloads.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in compliance with IDEA and state standards.Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students with speech and language impairments.Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs to ensure legal and ethical compliance.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student goals.Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities.Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic strategies and technologies, including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).Support inclusive practices and adapt interventions to support diverse student populations.Provide training or guidance to classroom staff, if applicable, to generalize communication strategies.QualificationsRequired:Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication DisordersActive state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language PathologistState Teaching Credential (or ability to obtain)Valid Driver’s LicenseExcellent communication, organization, and collaboration skillsPreferred:Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHAExperience working in a public school setting or with IEPsFamiliarity with Medicaid billing practices and complianceCultural competency in working with diverse student populationsClinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply — CF supervision available!What We OfferHighly Competitive Pay based on experience and locationSign-on bonus and relocation assistanceCaseload support and manageable workloadsMentorship and clinical support, especially for CFsFull benefits package including:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) and retirement savings optionsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) * Sick daysPaid time off (PTO) and holidaysProfessional development stipends and CEU reimbursementShort and long-term disability insuranceLife insuranceVoluntary benefit optionsWhy Choose Career Links?At Career Links, we’re committed to supporting our clinicians with transparency, respect, and dedicated guidance throughout their assignments.
