Were looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to join our team as a Facility Maintenance Technician. This is an entry-level position with a great opportunity to gain experience and develop skills in equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting in a supportive industrial environment. Previous maintenance experience is required. Ideal candidate must have a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic. Schedule is Monday- Friday from 8:30am- 5:00pm. Pay rate starts at $20 -$21 hourly, with an opportunity for a pay increase once hired on, based on performance.Job Responsibilities:Assist with identifying and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment issues under the guidance of Facility Engineer.Learn to perform basic maintenance tasks like checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and inspecting belts and motors.Support cleaning and lubrication of equipment parts such as gears, shafts, and bearings.Get hands-on experience with tools and equipment used in welding steel(MIG, training provided as needed).Help maintain water treatment systems and perform routine testing (training provided).Perform regular safety checks on facility equipment, including boilers.Work with experienced team members on emergency and scheduled repairs.Qualifications:A strong interest in mechanical systems, tools, or working with your hands.Basic understanding of hand tools/ power tools and mechanical equipment.Willingness to learn and take direction when priorities change.Good attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Completion of a background check, MVR, drug screen, and physical.Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.To apply, please send a current resume to ashley.franco@lkjordan.comLK Jordan & Associates is an equal opportunity employer.
