As In-House Corporate Counsel you will:
  • Provide legal advice and support on contract review, commercial license agreements, corporate governance, contracts, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including vendor, client, and partnership contracts and commercial licenses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess and mitigate legal risks.
  • Assist in managing relationships with external counsel as needed.
  • Support the legal team in corporate and commercial legal matters and risk management strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on legal trends and changes within the financial services industry.

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in good standing with the New York state bar association.
  • 2-4 years Big Law experience, ideally in Corporate/ Commercial or M&A practice groups.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial and M&A matters (preferable not essential).
  • Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and review legal documents and contracts effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across teams.
