Vishay, Yankton, SD, is currently seeking a full-time Document Control Coordinator responsible for preparing and maintaining documents and drawings within the engineering department.Job Location:This position is located on-site Yankton, SD. We are situated in Southeast South Dakota: on the banks of the Missouri River and minutes from Lewis and Clark Lake where you can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities.What you will be doing:
  • Responsible for the preparation and maintaining files of engineering forms, TPI’s, specifications and other documentation. Also maintains engineering drawings.
  • Assigns and monitors document numbers and revisions.
  • Ensures documents meet standards of Drafting Department.
  • Sends updated documents to other plants.
  • Sorts mail.
  • Other duties as assigned
What you will bring along:
  • Proficient in the use of Computers and Software applications including Microsoft Office and AutoCad a plus.
  • Ability to communicate with Production, Engineering, and other plant locations.
  • Must be organized and have high attention to detail while reviewing document changes.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 certification standard a plus.
  • H.S. diploma, or its equivalent.
  • One to two years of related experience.
