Our Survey and Geospatial Team in Tucson has an opportunity for a talented CAD Drafter. Explore this opportunity with Psomas and apply today!About being our CAD DrafterAs our CAD Drafter, you will utilize your expertise to communicate and work with project surveyors to create working surveying documents.Responsibility Highlights for our CAD Drafter
  • Prepare preliminary and final maps, Records of Survey, Corner Records, Site Plans, ALTA Surveys, 3-D exhibits and digital data files using appropriate CAD drafting programs, particularly Civil 3D and/or Carlson AutoCAD
  • Modify drawings as directed by project manager and project surveyor
  • Arrange survey drawings and designs to ensure adherence of established state, city, and county specifications and standards
  • Assist in creating base Survey drawings from agreed work scope
  • Support other team members as needed to meet project timelines
  • Work with standards committee for CAD specifications
  • Help maintain and focus on project directory naming / techniques and styles
Minimum Qualifications to be our CAD Drafter
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience utilizing CAD Software
  • Ability to multitask and work well in team environment
Preferred Qualifications for our CAD Drafter
  • Knowledge of Land Surveying, Architectural, Structural, Geospatial Awareness and Civil Engineering terms
  • Knowledge of GIS, Revit and InRoads
  • Experience in processing field data and electronic files
