Maintenance Technician II

- Perform all aspects of property maintenance, including preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
- General maintenance knowledge in electrical, drywall, HVAC, plumbing, custodial, and carpentry work as necessary.
- Appliance repair experience
- Ensure exterior curb appeal of community and cleanliness of grounds.
- Ensure that residents are provided with a clean, safe, well maintained community.
- Maintain accurate inventory control of tools, equipment and supplies.
- Ensure that maintenance requests are handled as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Have knowledge of location of gas, electric, irrigation, and water shutoffs, all apartment and fixture shutoffs, and sewer cleanouts.
- Assist in performing apartment move-in and move-out inspections as directed by Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
- Know current condition/status of all vacant units.
- Recommends measures to improve methods of operations, performance, safety and quality of service.
- Performs on-call emergency service as required.
- Represents Sudberry Properties and the community you work for in a professional manner. Maintains a positive businesslike attitude and neat, clean, dress (including uniform) and appropriate grooming.
- Attends and participates in training seminars as requested.
- Assists other staff members as needed.
- Possess and practice exceptional safety skills when on the job.
- Ability to work a schedule during normal hours which may include working weekends and hours in excess of 40 hours a week.
