- Estimate mechanical piping, HVAC, and plumbing costs for a variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
- Work closely with project teams, including engineers, VDC (BIM) designers, schedulers, foremen, customers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review plans, perform material take-offs, and prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical piping systems.
- Manage RFIs, change orders, and submittals to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
- Provide support and mentorship to junior team members while collaborating with Senior Project Managers.
- 5+ Years of HVAC Estimating / Project Management Experience: Strong background in mechanical piping estimation and project management.
- Diverse Project Portfolio: Experience in commercial, industrial, and institutional mechanical/piping/HVAC projects.
- Estimation Expertise: Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates, review specifications, and manage bids and proposals.
- Industry Awareness: Knowledge of current industry trends and standards to remain competitive.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Effective Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for working with teams and clients.
- Code and Specification Knowledge: Familiarity with energy codes, project specifications, and local building codes.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records of completed estimates.
