Responsibilities would include:Assist in promoting a positive environment within the classrooms and program and in promoting positive and cooperative working relationshipsAssist school psychologist with the development of a social history of each student by obtaining information from parents and/or guardians and appropriate agenciesEvaluate and re-evaluate short term behavioral and academic objectives on a regular basis throughout the school yearProvide counseling services to studentsDevelop and maintain communication with the students’ teachers, school psychologist, parents, school counselors, social workers and other appropriate agenciesMaintain files on students and parents.
