
FP&A Analyst III - Plant Operations Finance & Accounting

- Leads the preparation and posting of accounting journal entries as part of the monthly closing cycle to ensure accurate financial statements
- Assist in the summarization and presentation of financial results, along with key sales and cost drivers.
- Complete variance analysis to key benchmarks (budget, forecast, prior year, etc.) and clearly communicate key assumptions/inputs to leadership to ensure achievement of performance objectives.
- Assist in the deployment of key operational metrics and analysis to support daily management of the business, while proactively managing costs and working capital to drive sustainable improvement.
- Support and partner with plant leadership to drive daily, weekly and monthly say/do operational and financial performance.
- Assist in the building of monthly forecast and Annual Operating Plan (budget).
- Leverage analytical skills and system knowledge to organize and synthesize large amounts of data. Effectively translate data into insights that assist stakeholders in understanding business performance, including recommending solutions to improve performance.
- Gather and analyze information to help identify P&L and working capital trends. Communicate potential risks and opportunities vs the plan and recommend action plans to improve returns.
- Provide support on strategic projects such as capital spending and headcount / capacity planning.
- Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization to ensure expectations, timelines, and finance deliverables are consistently understood and completed.
- Support internal control processes to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and Regal Rexnord accounting policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required. (CMA designation a plus)
- A minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in financial/accounting functions, including cost, in a durable manufacturing industry is required.
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills. Experience with OneStream, Hyperion or other consolidation and reporting tools is preferred.
