Security ClearanceSecretRegular/TemporaryRegularPosition DescriptionValiant is seeking Part-Time on Call (PTOC) role player professionals with various levels of expertise to support our customer’s challenging, yet critical training requirements in the Hampton Roads Area Virginia. Role players will take on a variety of roles to aid Valiant in ensuring seamless training exercises, course events and activities, and course support through high quality professional service. Role players may also participate in and work directly with client course directors and instructors on role development, execution, improvements, and modifications as needed to ensure consistent high-quality delivery and effective training.Responsibilities:
  • Perform role plays by providing quality scenarios and performances with the goal of enhancing the training experience for trainees.
  • Identify ways to increase the overall quality of the trainee’s experience.
  • Maintain strong personal and professional judgment to aide in role play, as well as in finding the best persona or scenario for the situation.
  • Ensure all role plays are carried out in an appropriate, trainee focused manner.
  • Ensure Valiant’s role play events, activities, products, and processes remain compliant.
  • Follow security and operational policies and procedures as required.
  • Develop a general understanding of expectations for each course.
  • Understand role to play by being prepared for the role. Some roles will require Role Player guides. Role Players are expected to assist in implementing training standards and understanding your role and how it fits into the training requirements. In some exercises, Role Players will be required to provide feedback.
  • Work in concert with the Controller/Site manager that communicates and collaborates with the Valiant Program Manager and Customer to identify and schedule the role players to be used for a particular event or activity, to include, but not limited to, pre-briefs, preparation, role play, and student feedback.
Position Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with relevant experience in the field.
  • Prior role-playing experience preferred.
  • Ability to adapt and quickly respond to shifting priorities and initiatives.
  • Organization skills and willingness to remain flexible to customer needs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent reading and comprehension skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with role player training and principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, as well as independently with a focus on customer service..
  • Highly dependable, and organized individual with the ability to multi-task.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, good time management, and results oriented.
  • Proactive and prompt with a strong attention to detail demonstrating sound judgement.
  • Results oriented that improves speed and accuracy in completing administrative tasks over time.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
