- Data Analysis & Visualization:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to monitor vulnerability data, cybersecurity metrics, threat intelligence, and incident trends.
- Analyze large datasets from SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and other security platforms to identify patterns, anomalies, and actionable vulnerabilities.
- Connect and visualize data directly from Lakehouses and warehouse tables.
- Optimize semantic models for use in fabric.
- Automate data movement from diverse sources.
- Vulnerability Management:
- Monitor, report, and track application vulnerabilities. Drive the remediation process by collaborating with various technical teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Cybersecurity Support:
- Collaborate with cybersecurity colleagues to understand data requirements and translate them into visual solutions.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as vulnerability remediation status, threat detection rates, incident response times, and data security metrics.
- Assist in the development of automated reporting solutions for regulatory and internal compliance.
- Data Security & Quality:
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all cybersecurity reporting platforms.
- Assist in implementing best practices for data security and privacy in reporting workflows.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Present findings and insights into technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide training and support on Power BI usage and cybersecurity data interpretation.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and best practices. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the security posture of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications such as PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst, DP-500 Azure Enterprise Data Analyst, and/or Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or cybersecurity analytics.
- Azure ADO, Power BI, Confluence, and Powershell.
- Vulnerability management tools.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, Microsoft Fabric, Semantic modeling, DAX, and data modeling. Strong understanding of vulnerability management and incident response processes. Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Analytical Skills: Excellent data analysis and reporting skills. Ability to create detailed and insightful reports and dashboards. Perform advanced data analysis and transformation using Python.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex security issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of data visualization principles and storytelling with data.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and analysis.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
