
Asphalt Plants Project Manager

- Project planning, permitting, cost estimating, design, drafting, scheduling, and reporting.
- Provide detailed designs for asphalt plant retrofit and modification projects.
- Assist in the coordination of outside engineering, fabrication and erection services.
- Prepare proposals, cost estimates and justifications for future work.
- Schedule work to meet completion dates, technical specifications, functional requirements and budget constraints.
- Analyze asphalt production processes and performance metrics to identify enhancements that eliminate bottlenecks and increase efficiency.
- May be called upon at the discretion of management to perform other duties not listed.
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate technical field; degreed Mechanical Engineer, Civil Engineer or Electrical Engineer preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience preferred but not required.
- PMP or CPM certification preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of structural, civil, and mechanical design of asphalt plants or related field.
- Working knowledge of concrete foundation designs and power transmission systems.
- Working knowledge of surveying and drafting equipment.
- Working knowledge of drafting and site planning in AutoCAD or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of MS Windows systems (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint).
- Experience with erection, modification and refurbishment of asphalt plants or related equipment.
- Experience with design and aligning production needs with plant capacities.
