DescriptionAbout The Role:This position is NOT eligible for visa sponsorship. The Systems Engineer will be in charge of managing and improving the digital systems used by the Safety Department to track incidents, assess risks, and ensure the department operates smoothly across all locations worldwide. They will also focus on using AI (artificial intelligence) to make safety processes more efficient and help the department meet both U.S. and global safety standards. This role is a mix of managing technology systems, improving safety processes, and exploring new AI solutions to enhance the department’s effectiveness.Key Responsibilities: * Managing and Improving Systems:
Lead and manage the digital platforms (like incident tracking tools) the Safety Department uses.
Customize the systems to better suit the needs of the department and improve the way they work.
Ensure the systems comply with local and international safety regulations.
Training and Support:
Provide training and support to safety system users worldwide.
Create user guides and keep records of system changes.
Managing Projects and Vendors:
Oversee safety-related digital projects, like system upgrades or new tool integrations.
Act as the main point of contact for vendor relationships related to safety tools.
AI & Innovation:
Lead efforts to adopt AI tools that can help with analyzing safety trends, predicting risks, and automating reports.
Work with internal teams to test and roll out AI projects that improve safety.
Collaboration Across Teams:
Work with other departments (like IT and HR) to improve shared systems and enhance safety-related tools.
Ensure that safety systems meet security standards and protect company data.
Additional Support:
Help other teams with safety-related data and improvements as needed.
About You:
Education & Experience:
A degree in a technical field, such as Industrial Systems or Engineering.
3-7 years of experience working with digital systems, especially in safety or manufacturing.
Technical Skills:
Experience in setting up systems, creating workflows, and reporting.
Familiar with tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
Experience with AI tools and understanding how they can help improve safety processes.
Key Traits:
Good at analyzing problems and aligning systems with safety needs.
Can explain technical details in simple terms to people around the world.
Organized, proactive, and good at managing projects.
Certifications (Nice to Have):
Certifications related to safety or system administration (like Certified Safety Professional or ISO 45001 Auditor).
