In this role you will get to be on the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining key wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs) supporting Defensive Cyber Operations.What You'll Be Doing:
  • Participating in SAFe® Agile Mission Deployment teams deploying Defensive Cyber Operations systems and networks, in a SAFe® construct
  • Support the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of agency wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs)
  • Assist in designing and managing the WAN infrastructure and any processes related to the WAN. Provide Production Support of the Network, including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution client Networks
  • Provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
  • Support the dispatch of circuit and hardware vendors involved in the resolution process
  • Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
  • Strong ability to produce and maintain varied technical documentation
  • 100% onsite is required in Colorado Springs, CO
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Must have a Masters Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university with minimum 10 years of experience
  • Must have 1 DoD 8570.01/8140.03 Certification: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+ (CYSA+), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GISCP), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Certified Network Defender (CND), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security, or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
  • Ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance
  • A working knowledge of various software systems and architectures, communications protocols: and network hardware devices
  • Experience in a large-scale enterprise network environment spanning multiple data centers with high-availability requirements
  • Knowledge of the data lifecycle and data management best practices.
  • Demonstrated DevSecOps experience.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated technology stacks.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Top Secret OR interim/active Secret with ability to get Top Secret
  • Knowledge of SAFe® Agile best practices.
  • Familiarity with Defensive Cyber Operations Concepts
