University of Colorado Anschutz Medical CampusDepartment: NeurologyJob Title:Position # – Requisition #37636Job Summary:Clinical Science Program Managers perform clinical research related functions which may include patient-oriented research or research conducted with human subjects. Patient-oriented research includes mechanisms of human disease, therapeutic interventions, clinical trials, or development of new technologies. Clinical Science Program Managers may also assist with epidemiologic and behavioral studies and/or outcomes research and health services research. Clinical Science Program Managers independently manage clinical research programs, perform clinical research project management functions and/or supervise clinical research teams of 2 or more FTE.The position will design, develop, and execute processes to support the faculty in clinical research endeavors in support of the School of Medicine’s mission, vision, and values. Primary duties will include, but not be limited to, constructively identifying and creating process for increased efficiency; overseeing all aspects of the program’s clinical studies in logistical planning, procurement and implementation; supervising day-to-day activities of program’s RSPs; and working with UCH Neurology Clinic Research personnel to promote good clinical practice (GCP) of these studies. Each Clinical Research Services professional will work closely with the department clinical research administrative staff, primarily with the Clinical Research Services Program Director, and the section chief to support excellence in learning, research and creativity, community engagement, and clinical care.Key Responsibilities:Develop program/project goals and communicate goals and outcomes with a variety of stakeholdersParticipate in tactical and strategic program/project development and planningParticipate in program/project budget development processes, submission processes, and regularly reviews to ensure alignmentLead and participate in program/project start up and close out functionsLiaise and coordinate with a variety of program/project stakeholders including, but not limited to, program/project sponsors, regulatory agents, pharmaceutical representatives, and clinic/hospital staffDevelop, review, maintain regulatory and other program/project documentationEnsure program/project compliance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory bodiesOther duties as assignedWork Location:Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings in Aurora, CO.Why Join Us:The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is a public education, clinical and research facility serving 4,500 students, and a world-class medical destination at the forefront of life-changing science, medicine, and healthcare.
