Overview:Timberline Oral Surgery & Dental Implants is recruiting a practice manager to join our exceptional surgical team. This individual will be a team leader for both our Spokane, WA and Hayden, ID offices.The Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the OMS practice. This role includes managing patient relations, supervising front desk staff, coordinating schedules, communication with the clinical TEAM, regulatory compliance, marketing, and fostering positive communication to achieve practice goals. Responsibilities:Financial Management:
  • Oversee and manage financial operations, including billing, insurance, and collections.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, patient case acceptance, and collection rates.
  • Assist in tracking and managing practice assets, including inventory and supplies.
  • Participate in strategic planning and budgeting.
Staff & Human Resources Management:
  • Recruit, hire, train, and onboard new staff members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Create staff schedules and ensure proper allocation of time and skills.
  • Foster positive team morale, conduct team meetings, and resolve conflicts between staff members.
Operations & Compliance:
  • Ensure the smooth daily operation of the office, from opening to closing.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPPA, OSHA, and state dental board requirements.
  • Manage facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist in inventory control and procurement of supplies.
Patient Experience & Business Development:
  • Promote a patient-centered culture and ensure high-quality patient experience.
  • Resolve patient complaints and service issues professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate on marketing initiatives and patient education to support practice growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, referring doctors, and representatives.
Qualifications:Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in Oral Surgery or a related healthcare field preferred.
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software and EMR systems.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements (HIPAA, OSHA).
  • Financial acumen and experience with financial reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years + supervisory / Oral Surgery Practice Manager experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management or related preferred.
  • Knowledge of Oral Surgery billing, insurance processes, and regulatory compliance (OSHA & HIPPA).
  • Must be friendly, professional, and highly organized.
