This is a Full Time, benefited, 12 hour Night shift (1900 to 0730), ICU Float Pool opportunity within our La Jolla Hospitals (Memorial and Green).This position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K.At Scripps Health, your ambition is empowered and your abilities are appreciated:

Thriving in an environment where teamwork and leadership support is strong, our nurses enjoy the ability to float to different units and have flexibility with their work schedules.We invite you to join our highly engaged team of Float Pool Registered Nurses within ICU responsible for providing direct patient care that includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.This role requires you to float to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines. Floating to PCU, DOU, Tele, Oncology, MS and other areas will be required.New Hire and Relocation Incentive eligible.   • Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

  • One (1) year of recent RN experience in an adult ICU
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • NIH Certification
  • Six (6) months of RN Progressive Care experience and 2 years of ICU experience
