- Superior asset class expertise within Private Equity and development of a granular understanding of Partners Group Private Equity Directs capabilities.
- Work closely with the firm's investment professionals to provide insight from current and prospective investor relationships and contribute to the development of Partners Group's investment capabilities.
- Ability to drive a medium-term business plan for the asset class in the region, including development of new investment solutions.
- Market credibility to position specific existing or prospective private equity investments with Partners Group clients
- Solid understanding of key competitors, fundraising and industry trends to help position and launch the firm's offerings effectively and in a timely manner.
- Oversee syndication processes to ensure smooth and fast-paced operations, optimizing investment and client management
- Client relationship management
- Tangible access to key decision-makers and influencers within the institutional investment universe across the Americas.
- Ability to work closely and collaboratively with the broader fundraising team to source new investors into Partners Group's Private Equity Direct investment vehicles and separately managed accounts.
- Ability to map out the American Private Equity Direct investor market to detect any blank spots and develop new investor leads.
- Organizational and fundraising campaign management
- Demonstrated ability to develop, manage and execute end-to-end fundraising campaigns including, term sheets, offering documents, presentation materials, due diligence questionnaires, RFPs and other relevant documentation.
- Provide updates and maintain seamless communication with existing investors; identify re-up and cross-selling opportunities within the firm's existing investor base.
- Lead initiatives to differentiate Partners Group in the market and help build the firm's brand in the US including (i) supporting in the organization of Partners Group-sponsored events, (ii) driving thought-leadership content and representing Partners Group as a speaker at industry conferences.

- Bachelor's degree required, and MBA and/or CFA preferred.
- 10+ years of investment management / fundraising experience within private equity, prior experience as an asset/portfolio manager is a plus.
- Strong balance of technical/product expertise and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record raising private capital and achieving a high level of client satisfaction across various sales channels in the institutional investor space.
- Demonstrated career history of loyalty, tenure and success in roles of increased complexity and responsibility.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external parties in a polished, professional manner.
- History of strong collaboration with institutional sales and consultant relations colleagues.
- Strong network among industry colleagues that results in the reciprocal sharing of ideas, referrals, and introductions.
- Demonstrated work ethic, competitiveness and tenacity required to achieve top performance.
- Established credibility and strong reputation as a high integrity, trusted advisor among investors and peers in the private market's investments community.
