We are seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to join our team in Houston, TX. As part of the Transmission & Distribution team, you will work with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and site leadership to oversee the successful completion of complex projects in various industries including aviation, energy, oil & gas, manufacturing, water, and power generation.Your role will involve supporting all aspects of construction management, from safety and scheduling to cost control and client engagement. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in large-scale EPC and construction management projects.ResponsibilitiesManage daily project activities focusing on safety, quality, budget, and schedule.Develop strong client relationships, assist with proposals and risk assessments.Participate in contract negotiations, subcontractor selection, and procurement.Oversee field operations, including permits, material management, and safety standards.Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and manage invoicing and cost reporting.Work with site leadership to ensure subcontractor performance and project completion.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).At least 3 years of relevant construction/project experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.Prior experience in T&D, energy, aviation, or oil & gas industries is a plus.This position offers growth opportunities in project leadership and management.
