The Inventory Coordinator/Showroom Merchandising Associate is responsible for managing inventory in the showroom as well as responsible for maintaining the overall visual aesthetics. This role will require quarterly travel and regular remote support of our DC Showroom as well as in-showroom support for the Boston Showroom.Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain showroom inventory and merchandise tagging; including price changes
- Keep detailed records and receipts of consignment product including BOL, ITO, and all items sold off the floor (SSOF) in an Excel document
- Maintain upkeep and repair of showroom physical appearance to include; touch-up paint, furniture movement/placement, hanging artwork, placing accessories, organizing and maintaining showroom storages
- Uphold the signature HOLLY HUNT best in class visual image. Coordinate merchandising and overall presentation of space, working with Creative team.
- Oversee work of service providers to ensure job is done as contracted. (Painters, electricians, window washers, cleaning service, etc.)
- Assist with preparations and while Creative Team visits
- Responsible for receiving and shipping out product working with GM, HH Collection and Vendors
- Assist as needed to hang new textile collection launches in showroom
- Support in Sample Library with large projects and when volume requires
- Maintain showroom aesthetic throughout the day which includes moving pieces for client viewing, resetting disheveled seating, return misplaced accessories
- Open and close the showroom, turning lights on/off, and ensures back door is always locked and front door is locked at end of day
- Be a brand representative on the sales floor, in the office and at events to develop and grow relationship with the local design community.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2 plus years working in retail, design, inventory or showroom visual display
- Ability to travel quarterly to Washington D.C.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Organized, detailed oriented, and self-driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
