- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), 8-hour shifts; scheduled days to be discussed.

- Ensure vehicles are clean, orderly, and in safe condition.
- Complete maintenance requests promptly.
- Assist Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) staff when not conducting other job duties.
- Help with coverage during vacations, sick time, etc.
- Assist in assuring daily program activities, including patient transport, coordinating group activities, and supervising recreational activities.
- Record patient behavior, problems, and issues in a timely, legible, and helpful manner in the communication log.
- Communicate all pertinent information to the Lead BHT, Operations Director, and Administrators.
- Report all motor vehicle incidents to the supervisor, regardless of severity.
- Communicate with other staff as necessary to promote quality patient care.
- Interact appropriately with patients, demonstrating respect while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Provide emotional support for patients while referring them to therapy staff for clinical issues.
- Attend in-service education programs as assigned to learn new procedures and skills.
- Maintain good public relations with the addiction treatment community and associates.
- Communicate general environmental observations and issues to Operations Directors and Administration.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record for the past 3 years, reflecting a history of safe driving.
- A minimum of 3 months of work experience in behavioral or mental health, or an associate's degree or higher.
- Must have the ability to reliably commute long distances.
- 1 or more years of work experience in the field of substance-use-disorder or mental health treatment.
- Adherence to Healthcare Code of Ethics and familiarity with Joint Commission standards.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Ability to assess potential risks and report critical changes to clinical staff.
- Accurately maintain detailed records of patient interactions, progress, and incidents.
- Strong attention to detail in monitoring and documenting client behaviors to support patient safety.
- Maintain clear professional boundaries with patients while fostering a supportive environment.
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and assist in physical tasks.
- Basic understanding of addiction, recovery, co-occurring mental health disorders, and common treatment methodologies.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, dependability, and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of patients and the facility.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their families, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
- Empathetic to the trials, tribulations, and victories of the recovery journey.
