- Review daily appointment schedules and be prepared to greet customers in the drive with knowledge of their appointment
- Review primary appointment reason with the customer and ask customer questions to identify any other issues their vehicle may be experiencing
- Generate repair orders for customers
- Dispatch the job to the properly trained technician
- Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor
- Calculate customer's payment; including deductibles
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining documents and records
- Arrange towing and temporary transportation for the customer
- Answer incoming calls from customers to address concerns and set appointments for future service needs
- Make outgoing calls to customers to update them on the status of their vehicle in service.
- Any additional training or responsibilities as deemed necessary by Service Manager
- Must have a valid driver's license
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to drive a manual vehicle preferred, but not required
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Experience working in cashier/credit card systems preferred but not required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Flexibility with schedule to work nights and weekends
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Must be able to manage relationships across all channels and levels
