The Technical Support Engineer serves as the primary link between customers, field service technicians, operations, and sales teams. This role ensures service delivery runs smoothly, provides technical guidance, manages service contracts and parts quotations, and drives overall customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Coordination
- Oversee and support a fleet of field technicians.
- Schedule, dispatch, and track service tasks to ensure proper execution and documentation.
- Act as the technical point of contact for escalations or complex issues.
- Prepare and manage service contract offers.
- Analyze customer needs and tailor service packages accordingly.
- Track contract renewals, compliance, and performance metrics.
- Create and manage quotations for spare parts and technical upgrades.
- Work with procurement and inventory teams to ensure parts availability and accurate pricing.
- Interpret technical specifications to recommend appropriate solutions.
- Communicate with clients to understand technical needs and provide guidance.
- Present offers and negotiate terms when necessary.
- Partner with sales, operations, and engineering teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide feedback from the field to improve service offerings and product design.
- Strong technical background (engineering, maintenance, or field service).
- Experience in customer-facing roles or commercial activities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across teams.
- Comfortable reviewing technical specifications and recommending solutions.
