- Lead the development of electric machine and power electronics algorithm improving fuel economy, driving performance and NVH reduction
- Lead the development of electric machine and power electronics control software tuning and the optimization for fuel economy and NVH
- Support hardware sensors, switching devices and passive components specification development
- Specify design verification methods and plan testing in HIL, electric motor dynamometer & Vehicle.
- M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialty in electric machine drive control systems
- 2+ years of motor control related working experience or advanced training in electric machine drive or power electronics controls design or development of calibration
- Working knowledge of electric motor modeling and control algorithm, simulation tools including MATLAB/SIMULINK
- PhD in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with specialty in electric machine drive control systems
- Working knowledge of control system and software design, including C Programming language
- Experience with electric motor dynamometers, ATI Vision and hybrid vehicle operation is a plus
- Course or training experience in electric machine design and modeling, discrete-time digital control and power electronics control
