- Review and assign daily housekeeping inspections and room attendant tasks.
- Assume full responsibilities of the Executive Housekeeper during their absence.
- Assist in training programs for new hires and continued staff development.
- Monitor supply inventory and place orders while ensuring adherence to departmental budgets.
- Participate in reviewing departmental Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and align operational decisions with financial targets.
- Track and manage housekeeping accruals and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with financial controls.
- Adjust scheduling and labor deployment based on occupancy and budget goals.
- Promote open and effective communication between supervisors and staff.
- Work closely with inspectors to ensure all cleaning and maintenance standards are consistently met.
- Recommend promotions, accommodations, and disciplinary actions to the Executive Housekeeper.
- Communicate accurate room status updates to the housekeeping office and front desk;maintain proper documentation.
- Step in as needed in housekeeping roles (housekeeper, inspector, houseperson) and train others in these roles.
- Conduct inventory checks and prepare supply requisitions for approval.
- Keep Executive Housekeeper and leadership informed of any operational or staffing concerns.
- Enforce company policies and procedures within the department.
- Ensure safe and appropriate use of cleaning chemicals, including proper labeling and handling.
- Perform daily room inspections and address maintenance or cleanliness concerns promptly.
- Conduct regular property walkthroughs to ensure compliance with expectations and follow-up.
- Inspect inspectors' work to verify quality and consistency.
- Monitor housekeeping productivity metrics and ensure staff meets established performancestandards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or hotel operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on management style.
- Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in housekeeping systems and safety procedures, including chemical handling.
