Patel Research Institute, also located at AdventHealth Tampa, leads the way in clinical and academic research in the areas of neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, advanced surgery and more contributing valuable knowledge that leads to tomorrows cures for conditions such as heart failure, cancer and other diseases.The role youll contribute:The Physical Therapy Assistant implements patient care for assigned patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist in accordance with the Florida Physical Therapy Association standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 486.021 (b): Physical Therapy Assistant means a person who is licensed in accordance with the provisions of this chapter to perform patient related activities, including the use of physical agents, whose license is in good standing and whose activities are performed under the direction of a Physical Therapist as set forth in rules adapted pursuant to this chapter.The value youll bring to the team:Demonstrates through behavior Florida Hospitals Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship and Teamwork as outlined in the organizations Performance Excellence Program.Assessment: Collection of comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation.
