- Integrating propulsion equipment into state-of-the-art aerospace vehicle prototypes.
- Implementing cutting-edge cooling techniques to optimize battery performance.
- Finding creative ways to reduce volume, weight, and cost while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Designing components for ease of manufacturing using methods like CNC machining, 3D printing, and more.
- Ensuring components can withstand rigorous structural testing procedures, including shock, vibration, and impact.
- A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering to lay the foundation for your work.
- 2-4 years of engineering experience, including expertise in CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal weldments, casting, and 3D printing.
- Proficiency in producing 2D mechanical prints with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Experience with thermal analysis and design for manufacturing, cost, and requirements.
- A solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and a strong interest in battery technology.
- Knowledge of common materials like metals, plastics, and composites.
- CAD design experience using SolidWorks to bring your ideas to life.
- The ability to perform stress analysis using classical mechanics and FEA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- A willingness to travel as needed to collaborate with our global teams.
