- Must be least 18 years old in the next six months.
- Must live within Tooele City limits.
- Must be committed to becoming Firefighter I and II certified.
- Must be able to pass a background check and commit to maintaining the code of conduct.
- Must possess and maintain a Utah Driver License and driving record that meets Tooele City's insurance and risk management standards.
- Stair Climb with fire turnout gear (no mask)
- Ladder Raise
- Hose Hoist
- Sledge Hammer Drill
- Serpentine Walk, where you'll navigating around cones on flat surface
- Hose Line Drag
- Hose/Nozzle Operation spray
- Rescue Simulation, where you'll drag a weighted mannequin 65 feet
- Enrollment in our Length of Service Award Plan, providing a monthly payment upon attaining age 65
