As an Application Engineer, you will work with your team to make a positive impact across the organization. You are a full stack developer and have the technical depth on various modern technologies and tools. Responsibilities
Creates solutions addressing high impact technology and business priorities.
Competent in multiple contexts, including programming languages, security, automation, testing, and business domains and is the go-to person for many people (inside and outside of their team)
Research new technological opportunities and how they can be used to add technical capabilities at Client.
Drives strategic technology decisions based on collaboration with a board field of experts inside and outside of Client.
Contributes to the external image of Client Technology as a desired workplace to learn technology best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here's what we need from you:
Bachelors - Computer Science or related
3+ Years - Information Technology, (Software) Engineering, or related
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Cloud Technologies, preferably AWS
Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining APIs, containerized applications/services, and IaaS
Experience with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkin, Git/GitHub, or Gitlab
Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar
Passionate about software engineering practices
Programming language experience in Python. Experience in more than one language (Java, C#, Node, etc.) and can pick up a new language quickly
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Superb collaboration and communication
Great organization and time management
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with OpenShift Container Platform
Experience with contract testing using Pact and/or setting up Pact Broker
Experience with Golang
Full stack web applications development experience using React, Node.js
Risk management knowledge
