Kforce has a client in Howell, NJ that is seeking a Software Quality Engineer. Join a fast-growing FinTech company revolutionizing payment technology. We're looking for a mid-level QA Engineer with strong automation skills and a passion for backend systems to help ensure the quality and performance of our cloud-based payment solutions. Duties:
Design and execute test plans and automated test cases
Focus on backend/API and performance testing (minimal UI)
Collaborate closely with developers and participate in code reviews
Identify and track defects, verify fixes, and maintain test documentation
Contribute to automation and AI-driven testing initiatives
Test in a cloud-native AWS environment and help shape QA best practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of QA experience with a focus on backend/API testing
Strong automation skills and experience with tools like Postman
Familiarity with AWS environments and FinTech or payments industry experience
Exposure to .NET, JavaScript, or React is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
