Our comprehensive offering includes hundreds of products that enable us to custom tailor equipment solutions that meet the production line objectives, labor goals, budget constraints and brand image of our customers.Summary: Responsible for handling inbound/outbound freight to ensure customers receive supplies orders accurately in a timely manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate in a warehouse environment
  • Material Handling (including but not limited to picking, packing, shipping, stocking shelves, loading/unloading trailers and inventory counts)
  • Mark pick documents or key on RF device items, locations and quantities picked/packed for customer orders
  • Produce required shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Commercial invoice, and pallet labels
  • Label items/cartons/pallets as needed to meet customer/vendor requirements or for identification during other processes in the warehouse
  • Utilize warehouse systems and reports to determine alternate stock locations or complete replenishment of stock location as needed to complete orders
  • Process purchase orders for incoming freight and complete put away tasks to locate items physically and systematically
  • Count inventory items as directed by lead or manager
  • Report damaged of missing inventory to a supervisor
  • Drive material handling equipment as required by job assignment. Example equipment in the facility includes: forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and Wave.
Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Knowledge of WMS/ERP software, Microsoft Dynamics platforms preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to interpret pick tickets, packing lists, product labels and units of measure to receive, pick, pack/audit, and ship inbound/outbound orders.
  • Familiarity with proper packaging methods and ability to interpret visual aids for specific packaging requirements.
  • Familiarity with PIT trucks is preferred but not required. All operators will be certified internally.
Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, crouch and use hands to handle products. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Work Environment:While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally operating or in the vicinity of Powered Industrial Trucks. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. The ambient temperature can be cool in the winter and hot in the summer. The employee is exposed to normal dust, dirt, and particulates associated with closed case products being received from vendors throughout the world.
