Hourly pay range $24-24Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Console Operator will include:
- Responsible for ensuring the safety of company employees and property by monitoring and responding to physical access control system alarms in a prescribed manner.
- Interact with callers/customers to determine location, nature of incident/issues to determine appropriate response.
- Perform data entry in multiple data bases; follow established procedures.
- Work involves detailed record keeping, data entry, and acute listening skills.
- Console Operators will be responsible for monitoring electronic security systems including intrusion detection, video cameras, badge verification, and general access control.
- Operators will also be tasked with providing remote gate access, receiving, and reacting to large call volume, regulatory requirements, maintaining enterprise situational awareness and other duties as assigned.
- Must be willing to work a rotating/flexible schedule - weekends, holidays, evenings.
- Ability to assess people and situations, to apply sound judgement, to remain calm under stressful conditions and elicit essential information for assigning and assisting field personnel in a timely manner.
- Further, must maintain a high level of confidentiality dealing with incidents and security techniques
