Recruiter Contact: Melissa Leota atSUMMARY OF POSITION:Primary purpose of this position is to perform the technical portion of the breast ultrasound study as directed by the physician's order or as directed by the radiologist who has reviewed the imaging studies that have preceded the ultrasound (e.g. Mammography or MRI).This position will be responsible for performing breast ultrasounds, breast ultrasound guided breast biopsies, whole breast ultrasounds.Breast Ultrasound - 75%Breast Biopsies- 10%Whole Breast Ultrasound- 15%MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • Graduate of a CAHEP accredited DMS program. Must have ARDMS credentialing and within 6 months of hire, become certified in breast ultrasound.
OR
  • Be a currently registered mammography technologist and obtain ARRT breast ultrasound certification within 1 year of hire.
