Join our team as a Mammography Tech Coordinator in Yakima, WA!The Mobile Mammography Program Coordinator (in coordination with the Program Director) assists with overseeing the operational aspects of the mobile mammography program, including compliance, inspections, accreditation, and equipment and vehicle maintenance concerns. This position serves as the primary contact for upcoming mobile mammography clinics. The Mobile Mammography Coordinator functions as a working Mammography Technologist. They are responsible for the supervision of multiple positions, including professional program staff. This position is part of our mobile medical team, providing services throughout the Yakima Valley in a state-of-the-art mobile medical unit.We've grown into a leading community health center. Our holistic model also extends assistance to shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.Explore our short clips, " are Yakima" and " ," for a glimpse into our dedication to our communities, health, and families.Visit our website at to learn more about our organization.Position Highlights:$38.53-$47.20/Hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates100% employer-paid health insurance including medical, dental, vision, Rx, and 24/7 telemedicineProfit sharing & 403(b) retirement plan availableGenerous PTO, 8 paid holidays, and much more!This position requires travel to various sitesWhat You’ll Do:Coordinate daily operations of the Mammography Department.Maintain ACR accreditation and MQSA standards.Participate in performance improvement and quality measures.Prepare patients for screening and verify/update patient data.Operate mammography unit and follow radiation safety measures.Process scans, upload images, and notify providers.Review pathology results and document in EMR.Generate reports and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.Train, mentor, and evaluate staff; manage performance issues.Develop and implement program policies and procedures.Qualifications:Education:Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is preferredExperience:2 years of technical imaging experience and/or 2 years of mammography experience is required1 year of supervisory experience is requiredLicenses/Certifications:Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic TechnologistRegistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Certified by ARRT as a Mammogram TechnologistBasic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Auto driver's License and auto insuranceNational Registered Technologist – Mammography preferredSkills:Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong customer relations skills, including the ability to manage stressful situationsStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational skillsOur Mission Statement“Together we transform our communities through compassionate, individualized care, eliminating barriers to health and well-being.”Our mission celebrates diversity.
