- Perform mechanical and thermal design and development for complex electronic systems
- Design and validate systems and subsystems to meet program objectives
- Participate in the cross-discipline design process working with other HW and SW team members to develop optimized integrated solutions
- Conduct failure analysis and solution validation for product development and fleet systems
- Manage interaction with overseas resources
- Provide mentorship and technical reviews to a team of mechanical/thermal design engineers
The average week is a mixture of using engineering tools (CAD and thermal simulation), data analysis, meetings (internal and vendors), test report reviews, design reviews, and communicating via tickets or emails to make design and project decisions.About the team

The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market.
