- Certificate from technical training institute or combination of education and experience will be considered.
- A minimum of 5 years of related technical experience in supporting
- Information Technology environment at the server/data center level. Support may include (but
systems, providing Tier II/III support to lower tiers, performance tuning, hardware and software
upgrades, operational configurations, resource optimization, etc.
- Ability to support Microsoft and Linux Operating systems. Knowledge of other Microsoft Products used to manage an enterprise operation. Knowledge of VMWare.
- Experience in industry standard data center physical security tools and applications.
- Knowledge of DCIM and tools used. Basic knowledge
- Ability to develop project management documentation.
- Has excellent interdepartmental communication skill (written, verbal, presentations).
- Ability to work without guidance and the ability to resolve highly complex problems.
- Ability to lead projects.
- Serves as SME for a Shared Services Enterprise Datacenter information technology projects
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), CPIC, SDLC, IT Security Management, and Risk Management.
- Ability to apply consistent management approaches to IT Portfolio Management that increases the quality of data through best practices and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills.
