Position: Material Handler
Schedule: 2 shifts available, they are the following:
-1st Shift: 7 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
-2nd Shift: 11 a.m. - 7:45 p.m.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the flow of materials within the warehouse environment. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, order picking, and materials handling. The Material Handler will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment while adhering to safety standards.Duties
-Perform order picking using RF scanners and ensure accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.
-Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
-Maintain organization of the warehouse by properly storing materials and ensuring clear pathways.
-Conduct regular inspections of equipment such as cranes and forklifts to ensure safe operation.
-Follow OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
-Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve efficiency in material handling processes.
-Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
-Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.Experience
-Previous experience in warehouse distribution or materials handling is preferred.
-Experience with mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance is a plus.
-Background in construction or similar fields may be beneficial for understanding material handling requirements.
-Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor is advantageous for those looking to advance within the organization. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while performing their duties.
