Harrison County Hospital has an opening for a Receptionist at our After Hours Care location.Position available: PRN, Days/Evenings/WeekendsUnder the supervision of the After Hours Care Manager, this position performs as the receptionist and office clerk of After Hours Care. Serves as the focal communication source through interaction with the patients and staff members. Promotes teamwork and maintains office flow. Responsibilities include all aspects of clerical duties and the delivery of patient care, as assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • High school graduate or GED required.
  • Previous medical experience preferred.
SKILLS:
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with department manager, radiologist, physicians, their staff, patients, and their families.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology helpful, but not required.
