Location: Hybrid (Home & Office)Summary: Develops and drives HR initiatives and partners with business leaders to deliver business results through HR best practices and process management. Serves as a strong player-coach providing strategic business partnership to President and business, while directing the execution of day-to-day HR activities. The Sr. Manager helps co-create and drive all strategic imperatives to ensure leadership manages and develops its talent, understands collective bench strength, facilitates talent movement, and coordinates succession planning at all levels with mindfulness to diversity and inclusion initiatives. A true business partner; both strategic and hands-on. An integral part of the CC Leadership team and advisor to the President of CC.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Can articulate an HR startegy for the business to realize its purpose and objectives.
Provides direction on matters specific to the business unit they support and partners with senior leadership to define and translate the specific business needs of the function / business unit into HR priorities.
Collaborates with direct ream, broader North America HR team and other internal partners to effectively executive on those priorities, such as planning and executing integrated talent activities through talent and strategic workforce planning and developing and consulting on organizational design and change management needs.
Drives the talent agenda by managing the development and performance of a team regarding standardization and execution of routine HR services such as employee relations, talent management and development, succession planning, performance management, compensation and recruiting activities.
Leads the HR resources for two plant facilities.
Provides counsel and devleopment coaching to leaders and proposes strategies to address gaps and/or opportunities.
Evaluates function-specific data, talent analytics including compensation, diverstiy etc...for alignment with HR priorities and / or proactive mitigation.
Responsible for coaching and developing team of HR Business Partner and Associate HR Generalist.
Consults and advises team on routine employee relations and discipline matters, in collaboration with in-house Legal Department.
Facilitates and advises on all programmatic HR activities (goal setting, performance reviews, talent planning, engagement, compensation planning, etc.Has the capability to lead, represent the broader North America Region in selective Regional or Global HR initiatives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business or HR; MBA or Masters in HRM preferred.
7 years progressive experience in HR management to include employee relations, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, organizational design, talent management and development.
Prior experience in providing HR support and/or leading HR for a manufacturing population.
Significant work experience as a people manager, including demonstrated leadership, coaching and development of a high-performing team of individuals.
Must have advance leadership, management, and influencing skills with a proven track record of delegating and directing to meet and exceed results.
Strong consulting skills with the ability to constructively challenge senior leadership and articulate a perspective.
Must be a self-starter with the proven ability to successfully perform in a changing environment that involves directing multiple projects and developing and executing strategy, while balancing tactical requirements of the role.
Must be familiar with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
SPHR certification preferred.
