Experience in home health care alone does not meet the requirements for this role. Our care aides typically support an average of 12–15 residents, so familiarity with the pace and responsibilities of a licensed care facility is essential to succeed in this position.About the Role:As a Care Aide, you are a vital part of our residents’ daily lives. You’ll provide respectful, personalized care while ensuring that physical, emotional, and safety needs are consistently met. Every task you complete contributes directly to the comfort and dignity of those we serve.Key Responsibilities:Provide hands-on personal care (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, etc.)Assist with mobility and use of adaptive equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, hearing aids, etc.)Support residents during meals by serving, feeding assistance, and ensuring dignityObserve and document changes in residents’ condition, reporting concerns promptlyFollow individualized care/service plans, respecting residents’ choices and independenceMaintain accurate documentation per facility protocolsWork collaboratively with the nursing team and leadership to ensure consistent quality careOther duties as assigned to support overall resident well-beingQualifications:Minimum of 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience in a Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility (Required)Applicants with only home health care experience will not be consideredStrong verbal and written communication skillsDependable, team-oriented, and able to work under pressureRespectful of residents’ rights, privacy, and personal dignityAbility to follow routines, respond to change, and maintain professionalism in all situationsEducation & Certification:High school diploma or GED requiredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift at least 40 lbsMust be able to walk and/or stand for 80–90% of the shiftRequires bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, stretching, and typingReasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilitiesThis is more than just a job—it’s a chance to truly make a difference in the lives of others.
