Behavior Interventionist, Arlington School
The Behavior Interventionist is an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in providing supports for students so they can access their education in the public school setting and make a positive difference in their lives. The ideal candidate will have flexibility, patience, and willingness to learn. As a Behavior Interventionist you will be an active member of the team providing direct support to students who are unable to access their education due largely to emotional and behavior challenges.

Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:45am - 3:45pm. This position offers flexibility of working the school year exclusively with the option of working summer programming.

Responsibilities, As a Behavior Interventionist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of the children and youth under your care. Your responsibilities will include:Provide direct services to individuals served facilitating replacement skills acquisition, social skills, leisure skills, and self-regulation training
Ability to follow and implement treatment plans/positive behavior support plans
Ability to follow individual plan of care, behavioral and crises plansKey Skills and AbilitiesFlexibility, patience and willingness to learn.
Able to work independently and as a member of a team providing support to students unable to access their education due to emotional/behavior challenges.QualificationsBA/BS in human services, education, psychology or related field preferred. If degree requirements are not complete, must be working toward completion within one year of being hired.
Experience in ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) preferred
Must have access to personal vehicle to transport students as needed.SALARY & BENEFITSCompetitive Salary starting at $21.00/hr plus, depending upon education and experience
