- Develop and implement curriculum in alignment with state standards, incorporating Christian values into lesson plans.
- Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and spiritual reflection.
- Infuse Christian teachings and values into daily lessons across subjects.
- Lead students in prayer, devotions, and discussions that nurture spiritual growth.
- Provide effective and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Encourage active participation and inquiry-based learning.
- Serve as a spiritual mentor to students, promoting a love for God, others, and learning.
- Conduct and participate in chapel services, prayer meetings, and other spiritual activities.
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture.
- Model and reinforce Christian values such as love, kindness, humility, and integrity.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Engage with the local Christian community and involve parents in spiritual and educational events.
- Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators to enhance the overall educational and spiritual experience for students.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational and spiritual trends.
- Address conflicts or concerns in a Christ-like manner, promoting reconciliation and understanding.
- Provide emotional and spiritual support during challenging times.
- Embrace and respect the diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives of students.
- Create an inclusive environment that celebrates the uniqueness of each student.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students both academically and spiritually.
- Follow established procedures for emergency preparedness and crisis intervention.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification and/or licensure.
- Strong commitment to the Christian faith and adherence to Christian principles.
- Experience in integrating Christian teachings into the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
