- Bachelor's Degree in business related field or experience equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in food manufacturing operations or corporate brand sales/promo planning
- 5+ years leadership experience in food manufacturing, distribution, or retail
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or project management
- Solid understanding of the value drivers and fundamentals in food manufacturing - dairy/bakery/grocery
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to coach and train
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail and ability to draw conclusions
- Proficient knowledge of financial statements and budgets
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to effectively meet deadlines
- Understanding of organizational impacts that result from changes in business processes and technologies
- Ability to analyze complex data and present effective reports
- Master's Degree in Business Administration
- Collaborate on continuous improvement efforts for each category to ensure quality and availability of Kroger Manufactured Product
- Collaborate with the Merchandising and Our Brands Teams on portfolio management for assigned commodity
- Develop and implement overall business strategy for new/expanded growth and brand loyalty in collaboration with other departments and stakeholders
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership to our business partners to align our business and people processes toward deliverables that support being best in class
- Remain abreast of market conditions, competition, new technology, government regulations and supplier information as they apply to the operation
- Exercise excellent negotiation skills to secure deals, ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, and then manage/maintain all relationships
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify tends and gaps in the industry and use the data/insights for strategic planning and decision-making
- Maintain a growth and learning mindset to keep up with changing market conditions, customer expectations, and industry standards
- Travel to Kroger locations as needed for stakeholder interface
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports
