- Assist in resolving basic IT issues for users, including password resets, software installations, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Shadow IT analysts during complex troubleshooting tasks to gain practical experience.
- Document and track resolved issues in the IT support database, maintaining clear and accurate records.
- Respond to support tickets under supervision, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
- Perform regular updates on computers, software, and other IT assets to maintain system efficiency.
- Assist with system backups, ensuring data integrity and secure storage practices.
- Help manage hardware inventory, preparing and distributing new equipment as needed.
- Support the IT team in implementing system security protocols, including antivirus updates and monitoring.
- Participate in ongoing IT projects, such as system upgrades and network improvements, contributing actively to project tasks.
- Assist with testing and implementation of new software or hardware, gaining hands-on project experience.
- Document project progress, reporting findings and providing updates to the IT team.
- Learn and apply new technical skills as part of project involvement, contributing to successful project outcomes.
- Engage in self-directed learning activities to expand IT knowledge, staying informed on relevant technologies.
- Attend team meetings and actively participate in discussions related to IT issues and solutions.
- Participate in training sessions on IT tools, systems, and support methodologies.
- Develop familiarity with key IT systems and processes used within the organization, building foundational IT skills.
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities, ensuring proper documentation for future reference.
- Communicate effectively with IT team members and end-users, following up on support requests as needed.
- Provide updates to supervisors on task progress, ensuring alignment with department goals.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing by documenting solutions and processes, supporting team collaboration.
- Education: Currently enrolled in high school with an interest in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively within a team environment and follow instructions.
