Are you ready to join our team?The OpportunityLocated at 323 Lowell Street in Andover, MA, our Pentucket Medical Pediatrics team is equipped to handle all child health needs. We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Practice Assistant to support the phone room at this practice onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (shifts are staggered). This is a telephone-based position operating in a call center style environment; there is no face-to-face interaction with patients or other customers. Responsibilities include fielding incoming phone calls, handling requests, performing patient registration, placing outbound phone calls, and scheduling appointments. Our goal is to ensure that patients, referring providers, and other customers receive timely, efficient, and high-quality service. Our small but mighty team of 3 administrative support professionals handle up to 100 calls per day collectively.Please Note: You may also be asked to float to help support calls for other departments during orientation (for training/precepting purposes) or during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances (for cross-coverage purposes).QualificationsQualificationsFirst and foremost, we are seeking well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume setting.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in a medical call center and/or medical office environment strongly preferred
  • Bilingual language skills (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Epic experience preferred
