- Completes BMIT training program tracking all progress to completion.
- Completes personal development trainings which will develop personal leadership style as well as how to lead effective teams.
- Responsible for day-to-day operations and staff management at the branch in the absence of a branch manager.
- Shadow Branch Managers and work at other branches to gain more experience and knowledge.
- Responsible for branch scheduling for all branches as well as the optimization of these schedules.
- Engage in continuous learning through workshops, courses, and mentorship provided by senior leadership.
- Develop skills in managing branch expenses, budgeting, and cost-control measures.
- Learn to participate in local marketing initiatives and community outreach for member growth.
- Ensures adherence to all internal policies and procedures. Maintains compliance with Federal laws and regulations set forth by all regulating agencies.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new associates.
- Develop skills in coaching, performance management and staff development.
- Understand payroll, time off approvals, conflict resolution, and effective leadership techniques to maintain a positive work environment.
- Supports business growth by identifying sales opportunities, improving branch efficiency, and member service.
- Maintains an expert knowledge of financial products and services offered by the CU.
- Assists member in opening consumer and business accounts and establishing membership.
- Originates, processes, and closes loans according to established policies and procedures.
- Coaches team to identify member needs, meet or exceed referrals, and understand cross sell opportunities.
- Assists members with more complex member service issues and with any sensitive or difficult issues.
- Performs such duties as may be required from time to time for the overall management and operation of the Credit Union.
- Participates in Credit Union special projects and initiatives.
- Represents Service One at Credit Union events and in the community through volunteering, professional networking groups, partnering with charitable organizations and attending civic events.
- Provides management at other branches as needed.
